Formed in Bangkok in 2021 by Chalerm ’Lemmy’ Soongsak, the former frontman of prominent indie pop groups Seal Pillow and Gym and Swim, the independent record label Crazy Mondae aims to celebrate the diversity in the Thai music ecosystem and explore possibilities in each and every process of the music production.

With a daring attitude not to follow any rules or any patterns of what other record labels did in the past, the visionary founder and executive producer chooses unconventional ways to conduct the whole production. Everything is an experiment, the label never forces the bands to have certain music directions or follow a pre-designed marketing strategy. The team makes sure that all plans are customized to match the characters and work ethics of each band to support what they need and encourage the artists to select their own path or how they want to see themselves in the industry. The label will help emphasize the idea of what musicians want to explore through the creative process without restricting their thoughts. Eventually, both parties find this style of working intriguing as it’s flexible as they can learn and improve the process together.

Crazy Mondae believes in artists’ abilities even if they are not award-winning acts or are honorable mentioned by leading media or critics to prove their success, but instead eager to push them to reach their maximum potential. The label doesn’t limit itself to distributing only genres but incubates inspiring bands with different aesthetics to bring their hidden talent out to the surface. With strong confidence in the uniqueness and pure creativity of their music, these up-and-coming artists are anticipated to be seen and heard by both local and international audiences who’re seeking fresh musical ingredients and unpredictable recipes from bands they’ve never discovered before.

Chucky Factory Land is an alternative r&b band influenced by hip-hop and groovy lo-fi sounds. In 2021, the Hatyai-based artists released their first album ‘Being Untidy’ and become one of the most breakthrough underground live acts of 2022 with the EP ‘WHAT HAPPEN IS ODD’

Paintbrush is an idol collaboration project between Gridge Inc. Japan and Crazy Mondae. The group represents naughty, fun, and cheerful like a brush that is ready to smear the blank canvas with colorful, vivid shades.

Ford Trio is a three-piece band formed by music students from Silpakorn University. The band distorts musical boundaries by blending rock, blues, soul, and funk with elements of local music like Molam in their latest song ‘Hatsudai’ and even pushes the limit by working with Japanese band, Helsinki Lambda Club in ‘เปล่าเลย (なんにも)’

VINI consists of former girl group members, Beam (DJ, vocal), Ply (bass, vocal), and Fhong (guitar, vocal). Three of them desire to present electronica and clubbing culture through their funk/disco-inspired music.
